Dad and Bride Hit Big with *Nsync, Madonna and Michael Jackson

Father Daughter Wedding Dance Mashup

When you DJ lots of weddings, you get to see lots of dancing, and surprise dances are more common every year. They’re usually performed by the bride and groom or the whole wedding party. You know — those young, crazy kids.

Sometimes, dad wants to be young and crazy too.

Not all surprise dances are entertaining, but this father and bride combo earns some genuine LOLs with this mashup including *Nsync, Madonna, CrissCross, Pitbull, Michael Jackson and MC Hammer. (They get extra points for actually doing the MC Hammer dance!)

Unfortunately, there isn’t much info on them, so no names. Sorry!

We Promise: No Drunk DJs

Wedding Band Etiquette: What If the Band Gets Drunk?

Photo: Getty

It really shouldn’t be necessary, but we promise we will not get drunk at your wedding.

As a matter of fact, our DJs won’t consume alcohol at all at your event.

If anyone should be getting drunk at your wedding it should be you. And your best friend. And uncle Steve cuz it helps him dance “better”…

But what happens when entertainers take liberties with the drinks?

Weddings are a great opportunity to let loose and have a few drinks with your nearest and dearest. But what if the people tossing them back aren’t guests at all, but your wedding band? They’re the only vendor that regularly has a clause in their contract or rider that allows them to have a few alcoholic beverages, and thankfully most of them know where to draw the line between “really getting rocking” and “forgetting the words.” Here’s our expert advice for handling a band that has had a few too many. Kara and Paul and a Dancing Fox

Kara+Paul::Wedding Highlight Film::Seattle Wedding Videography

This is just awesome. Real moments with real people are the best. Seattle Wedding Videography put together some of the best moments captured of newlyweds Kara and Paul. The backdrop of Port Gamble and the classic chapel were a great fit for the couple, with the event handled by Dancing Fox Weddings and Events (one of the best names ever.)

Via youtube.com

My team and I loved getting the opportunity to shoot in Port Gamble- this adorable iconic Pacific Northwest town is the object of perfection. St. Paul’s church has always been on my “I hope to shoot there” someday list- it is so picturesque! It was fun to work along Ambrosia Photography- I can’t wait to see their stills! Their ceremony was perfectly accompanied by gorgeous instrumentals, courtesy of Arcobaleno Strings and Kara and Paul’s vows will guarantee to make you laugh AND cry.Now let’s talk about the part that I drooled over. The decor. GUYS. The DECOR! Wonderstruck helped to execute the perfect winter wedding ambiance, complete with amazing tablescape and equally amazing florals. I was stunned when I walked into the reception (as were Kara and Paul!). Their amazing day was executed phenomenally by Dancing Fox Weddings and Events, and they danced the night away thanks to Emerald City Sound. And get this:: a caricaturist! How incredubly fun is that? It basically sums up the feeling of the entire day!Kara & Paul, you two are adorable. Paul, your laugh is infectious, so I’m happy to know you’ve found the one who makes you do that on the daily! Best wishes you two!!

Just Dance. Doctor’s Orders

Dr. Ken Jeong Doesn’t Hesitate to Dance at a Wedding.

We go to many, many weddings, and about 30% will not dance no matter what we play. Usually, it’s because of the fear of embarrassment. Please, don’t be self-conscious. Have fun. Be like Ken Jeong. He is a doctor, after all.

Audiences basically said “Hey, at least Kevin Hart is in it!”

And the co-lead (Josh Gad) and love interest (Kaley Cuoco) each got nominated for Razzie Awards. (Basically the opposite of an Academy Award). You should make up your own mind, though…
